250 g cottage cheese
150 g frozen peas
4 medium size tomatoes paste
2 medium size onion paste
4 tbsp malai or fresh cream
15-20 cashew
15-20 raisin
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
4 green cardamom
1 bay leaf
2 small cinnamon sticks
1 tsp white zeera
1+1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp kasuri methi
2 tbsp pure ghee
1 tsp kashmiri lal mirch
4 tbsp coriander powder
1tsp kasuri methi
5-6 tbsp oil or ghee


Heat a pan, add 2 tbsp oil, once the oil heats up add cheese, fry it till it turns golden in color.
Take another pan add 4-5 tbsp oil, once the oil heats up add onion paste, fry it for  3-4 min on medium to high flame till the onion turns light pink.
Add ginger garlic paste fry it for 2 min till the raw smell vanishes.
Add all powdered spices and a little water and fry it for 3-4 min.
Now add cream, kasuri methi, cashew nuts and raisin, mix well for 1-2 min.
Now add peas and fried cheese.
Add 1-1 1/2 cup of water, you can keep the consistency as you desire.
Bring a boil on high flame, cover it with a lid, simmer the flame and cook for 5-7 min.
Keep it aside and take a pan, add pure ghee or butter, once its heats up add kashmiri laal mirch.
Pour this tadka into the matar paneer, mix well.
Garnish it with coriander leaves,
Serve it with roti, chapati, phulka or paratha.
